St. Edward Catholic Cemetery
Outdoor Mass(weather permitting)
Monday, May 29 at 9:00 am

The cemetery is located at 12185 Shadybrook Road, North Plains. If inclement weather, Mass will be held at St. Edward Catholic Church, 10990 NW 313th Avenue, North Plains.  The Parish puts flowers on every grave as well as flags on every Veteran’s grave.

Car-Truck-Motorcycle Show
Monday, May 29 at 9:30 am to 3:00 pm

Organized by VFW Post 2666.
FREE admission for the whole family!

Over 200 Show Cars, Trucks & Motorcycles, Active & Vintage Military Vehicles, SWAT Car, Police & Fire Vehicles. Plus Vendors, Food, Trophies, Classic Tracks DJ, Corral Creek Blue Grass Band, Raffle, Kids Activities, Burt Daniels Traveling Military Museum, PT658 Boat Torpedo, & Memorial Day Salute Program and more! Who You Are Helping: By attending or registering your vehicle for this family friendly Car Show you will be helping our local veterans. Proceeds go to support veterans and their families. Washington County’s Memorial Day Ceremony
Monday, May 29 at 10:00 am to 11:00 am

Washington County Veteran’s Memorial, Corner of NE 34th and Veterans Drive, Hillsboro. Organized by Washington County.
Admission is free.

The ceremony will include Posting of Colors, the National Anthem, gun salute and Taps provided by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2666 and American Legion Post 104.


Memorial Day Dedication & Ceremony

Veterans Memorial Park, 1251 W. Baseline St., Cornelius.
Organized by VFW Post 2666, American Legion Post 104 and the City of Cornelius.
Admission is free.
A special dedication to unveil our Blue Star Memorial Marker and Purple Heart City designations. Both hold special significance for veterans and their families. We are honored to receive support to host both designations at our Veteran’s Memorial Park. The event will include singing by Hillsboro Police Department Sergeant Eric Bunday and a formal presentation by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard. Purple Heart recipient, Spencer Jones, will share inspirational thoughts and ideas.
